Geocaching Travel Bug Update: Country Music Road Dog
I love country music and geocaching. What better way to pair the two by having a travel bug that ties back into country music? That's when I decided to have the Country Music Road Dog Tag to travel along. It is a Grand Ole Opry guitar pick attached to a dog tag provided by www.Geocaching.com.
If you are a member of the Geocaching website, you can view it's tales with Reference Number TB49KQA. It was originally placed on 7/16/2011.
Every song has a story. There is always a song that you love that brings you back to a memory, whether good or bad. Country Music Road Dog would love to travel across the United States to listen to the song you love while traveling from cache to cache. Let's see if we can get him to all 50 states. First stop - Kentucky. Home of Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music.
So far it has went down to Nashville, then Texas, Louisiana, and back in Kentucky. It has traveled over 1405 miles! Pretty cool I must say!
